The setting of the cabin is truly divine - right on the water's edge with a stunning outlook and so peaceful. Glorious. The cabin though is very very basic and not at all comfortable. The outdoor 'eco' WC and shower are up a run of steep steps away from the cabin and more akin to a basic camp site. The kitchen sink is so small and awkwardly positioned as to be unusable. The electrics are very old and really look as though they should be replaced/renewed. We couldn't cope with these facilities at all and as a result left earlier than planned. Ferries to and from the cabin are few and far between which we also hadn't appreciated so you do need to double check frequency/timetables etc.

Very good location, quite and relaxing but very close to the city. The house was pretty comfortable and Sara was a very nice host.

The cabin is located in Gustavsberg and is less than an hour ferry ride away from central Stockholm. The closest ferry pier is Koviksudde. The cabin itself is small but cozy and very well-equipped. The view is amazing. It is perfect for relaxing a weekend getaway- exactly the archipelago experience we were looking for. It took us some time to get used to the outdoor shower and eco-friendly toilet fortunately the weather was fairly warm. Sara is very nice and friendly and the communication was great. She always answered instantly and even though she was on holiday before we arrived. Thank you for staying in your place! I would recommend it to everyone!

Sara was very polite and courteous and answered all questions we had about the cabin and local area - even though she was not always around I could always email her and get a quick response. The cabin is as per the description and photos - yes it is a little basic but the view is amazing and you are so close to the sea so you will not be wanting to spend too much time indoors. We had a great time admiring the beautiful views, looking at the stars at the night, and going for cycle rides to the local bathing lake (Sara lends you bikes which is a big help). It is very quiet and you do not see many people around the area so you can just enjoy the nature and scenery. I think the cabin is a little difficult to get to by public transport but if you have a car it is very close to the city and local supermarkets. We hope to come back next summer to enjoy it again :)

We had a lovely, relaxing time at Sara's cottage. She and her mother (who was staying with her at the time) were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is beautiful, even in rainy weather and the house is perfect for a simple getaway. Sara is a kind host who provided us with everything we needed and yet allowed us to feel like we had our own private island! Tack så mycket!

We loved staying in Sara's cabin. Sara was very friendly, relaxed and generous, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The cabin has a stylish 1950s feel, and is located below Sara's amazing house. The location is perfect - exactly the archipelago experience we were looking for. We were able to swim in the sea, and continuously marveled at the beautiful view. The big cruise ships that pass by seem out of place compared to the serene natural landscape, but they only pass by in the late afternoon/early evening, so weren't a problem. The outdoor loo/shower is basic but fits in with the natural cabin experience! All in all, a great experience. We'd love to stay here again someday.
