The place was very nice, loved the little balcony and the location was great as it was very close to a supermarket and beach. Also, not far from the city centre with all the shops and restaurant. Went there with my husband and we had an amazing romantic getaway. Didn't use the stove, however the kitchen was well equipped.
It was fairly clean, there was just a few spiderwebs and some dust (maybe because it wasn't used for a while). However, the kitchen and bathroom sink, the shower and the bed sheets were very clean. Towels were provided for an extra 5€, however there were no hand towels.
The main issue was the lack of hot water (it would run out after two very short showers). I texted Thomas about it, he did reply very quickly, seemed helpful. However, nothing was done so I checked the reviews again and someone actually mentioned this problem, which led me to believe that Thomas was aware of this issue and it would have been nice for him to mention this beforehand.
Overall, we did enjoy the flat, the tranquility, the sea, the food and Thomas was a good host and even kindly offered to pick us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the apartment. He also recommended some places and where we could eat well for a good price. We would definitely recommend this place and Thomas as a host. Ouistreham is a hidden gem and it's well worth to visit.
