Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.

Garden view

Soak up the view during your stay.
One mile from the center of Amherst on a sustainable working family farm. Visit our animals, hike our fields, forest and streams, or simply relax.

Master Bedroom Suite with kitchen and bath, plus a futon in the living room.

The space
A graceful blend of the old and new near the heart of Amherst.

A private front porch opens to the entrance foyer and staircase. Upstairs is the master bedroom suite (1 queen bed and 1 twin bed), with a private bathroom and kitchen attached, and lovely farm views.

Downstairs you will find a finely furnished living room (with a flatscreen TV, streaming movies, and lots of DVDs). If needed, the living room converts to a bedroom by closing the doors and opening the new futon into a double bed.

Outside, you and your guests also have access to a fire pit, gas grill, picnic tables, electric car charger, and access to farm fields, forest trails, and a stream to play in.

Guest access
Private front-door entry. Plenty of free parking. Access to our farm and trails. Plus all Amherst has to offer (see the guidebook section of this listing).

Other things to note
Historic farmhouses have their charms and quirks.
N.B. There is only one bathroom available, and it is accessed through the master suite bedroom. This is perfect for couples, and usually works well for families and good friends too.

EXTRAS: You may be able book HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS. Ask for details. Drop-in CSA VEGETABLES shares are also available (Mondays, Thursdays & Saturdays).

Neighbourhood highlights

A walkable/bikeable community, that cares about being a community. Stroll west past Emily Dickinson's homestead on your way to dinner in the center of town. Or turn east toward mother nature and hike to the Amethyst Brook Conservation Area, Mt. Orient, and the Robert Frost trail at the back of our farm.
