A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly.

Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Lake Windermere is a short walk away, accessed via the National Trust's Fell Foot country park, where row boats, kayaks and SUPs are available for hire. For sailors, dinghies can be launched from the Active Base boatyard on site.
A boat ride from Fell Foot carries you across to Lakeside, where you can jump aboard the Haverthwaite Steam Railway, visit the Lakes Aquarium or explore England's largest lake with Windermere Lake Cruises, sailing north to Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside and Wray Castle at the top of the lake.
For foodies, Simon Rogan's fabulous Michelin star L'enclume' restaurant, is a short drive away in the picturesque village of Cartmel, home of the famous sticky toffee pudding, Cartmel Priory and Cartmel races.
