Beech Hut is modern & self contained with a private decking next to a small stream, under the protection of a grand old Beech tree. Its perfect for the evening sun & for watching the wildlife in the garden & fields beyond.
Centrally located to all major South Hams attractions , Bantham & South Milton Sands, Thurlestone golf course & Salcombe. Hope Cove’s bars & live music, Kingsbridge shops, supermarkets & nightlife are close. Dartmoor, Dartmouth and historic Plymouth are easily accessible.

The space
Protected by a beautiful, century old beech tree, the Beech Hut is a private, tranquil space for couples, friends and families.
It is peaceful and unspoiled, the perfect place to reconnect and rediscover. Close to beaches, yet set away in glorious countryside, Beech Hut gives you everything you need for an unforgettable holiday.
Beech Hut gives you a double and a twin bedroom and a double bed settee in the lounge area. Comfortable beds with all bed linen supplied. The double room overlooks the stream and has far reaching countryside views. The twin room takes in mature gardens.
The bright, fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, freestanding oven and kettle. There is an open plan dining and living area, perfect for sharing family time.
There is a private terrace and decking, for al-fresco dining with long country views. Take in the beautiful Devon sunsets, while watching wild rabbits, listening to the resident owls and looking out for hedgehogs. Guests can relax in the hammock or simply sit and enjoy the peace.
There is a modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Towels are provided.
If the weather is not kind, Beech Hut has games, books, a television & DVD player and full Wi-fi in the building.
We provide parking on our drive for one car. There is additional on street parking for further vehicles.

Guest access
Guests have an entirely separate accommodation for exclusive use with a short flight of 4 steps up to the terrace. The Lodge is then on one level. Outside there is a private decking, with shared gardens and parking

South Milton is a small, yet vibrant , village. We are set in the South Hams, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Your days can be spent in many ways. We are very close to all the South Devon beaches; family orientated South Milton Sands, surfer lovers Bantham beach & Hope Cove. Or, you could cycle around the villages of South Devon. We are on Route 28 for cyclists. Golfers will love the famous links course of Thurlestone, only 2 miles away. Bird watchers can visit South Milton Ley, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a sanctuary for all sorts of wildlife. Further afield is Plymouth, with historic dockyards, marinas and shopping. Dartmouth, famous for its steam railway, shopping and Agatha Christie is perfect for a day trip.
World famous Salcombe is a stones throw away. Hire a boat and live the life on the water! Rub shoulders with the famous, or simply spend time crabbing at the waters edge.
National Trust members would be spoiled for choice, Overbecks in Salcombe is not to be missed!
Head away from the coast and Dartmoor, with its walks, wildlife and folklore history is also in easy reach
The pretty market town of Kingsbridge is also a short car trip away. Kingsbridge offers restaurants, boutique shops and larger supermarkets for essentials!
