Discover An Cala (The Haven in Gaelic), a peaceful riverside getaway surrounded by trees and the soothing sounds of flowing water. Perfect for families or groups of friends, it features 5 bedrooms (3 kings, 3 singles) and 2 cosy wood fires.
The open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area is designed for sharing: a huge dining table, a 6-burner gas stove, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer make life easy, while excellent Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace mean you can mix relaxation with work if needed.
Step onto the private deck to enjoy the hot tub and outdoor shower, overlooking the river, and soak in the serene surroundings. With the Cairngorms, skiing, hiking, biking, birdwatching, fishing, and golfing all nearby, An Cala is an escape for adventure, relaxation, and a memorable time together.

The hot tub is perfect for a relaxing soak under the stars. It has virtually no jets, so it’s ideal for unwinding rather than a powerful jacuzzi experience.
The garden stretches down to the river, offering lovely views and outdoor fun. Children should be supervised at all times, as the river can rise quickly, but when the water is low it’s a safe and playful spot for exploring.

Neighbourhood highlights
Located in a small village with many walking trails in the forest and along the river. This is the perfect place for nature lovers, dog walkers, adventure seekers, bird watchers and for friends and family to meet.
A fantastic local butcher, Balliefurth Farm Shop, well stocked with essentials and treats. The Nethy House Cafe, and the Nethy Hotel pub, are within a 10 min walk from the house.
The Mountview Hotel in the same neighbourhood serves meals if you want to eat out, and Tesco/Sainsbury delivers to the house, if you want the shopping to arrive when you do. The Fish and Chip van comes to Nethy on Monday evenings and parks outside the SPAR. Anderson's in Boat of Garten does a wood fired pizza take out.
Ample walking and biking trails, from the door. One of the best routes is from Nethy Bridge to Glenmore Lodge, past the Ryvoan Bothy.
Within a 30 min drive from the house there are: 6 whisky distilleries on the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail, the Glenlivet Mountain Biking Trails, The RSPB Osprey Centre at Loch Garten, 5 golf courses, swimming pools, Loch Insh Watersports, castle estates, Pictish ruins, Fishing, Speyside Walking Trail, Landmark kids adventure park, gocart racing, and thousands of walking trails.
Findhorn Bay and the Morayshire Coast are an hours drive from Nethy Bridge. Loch Ness is 1 hour 10 min from the house.
