The CABIN: The Queen Bed is very comfortable with high quality linens, with both down or down-free pillow options. The living room offers a comfortable foldout couch, a cozy leather 'lazy boy' chair and great floor cushions. In the evenings, gather around the dining or coffee table for a night of fun with provided board games after you have whipped up your favorite meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. We have been told the unit is so comfy "it's hard to leave to go out after a day of biking, hiking, or skiing."
THE PROPERTY: It is just steps away from Town Park, Clark's Market, and Majestic Theater or the Free Shuttle to the Resort. The Cabin is just close enough to walk to the amazing restaurants and bars are just a few blocks walk to Elk, but far enough away to be quiet at “bar closing” time. In the summer, there are free 'Townies' available for guests to ride uptown. And with up to 2 Free, off street parking spaces, you'll won’t need to move your car during your entire stay.
PETS: YOU MUST STATE BREED, AGE, and WEIGHT within your inquiry to receive an accurate quote. Pet fee may be collected as cash or check with taxes from above. Excessive barking, any scratching or on-furniture lounging will not be allowed. Kenneling preferred, but not required.
NUMBER OF GUESTS: When requested in quote, the foldout couch will comfortably accommodate 2 smaller humans and will be stocked with sheets, blankets and towels for each guest.
KIDS: Extra person charge applies to any human old enough to walk. Please make sure and let us know in inquiry, but do not mark child if infant.
LENGTH OF STAY: Some periods during Events and Holidays may have a longer than advertised, but flexible, required stay. Shorter last minute stays will be considered, so please inquire.
TAXES: Our total State, County & Local Taxes are 13.5% and AIR is only collecting 8.0% from you in the booking. Please confirm in inquiry you AGREE to pay upon departure, via cash or check, the additional 5% Town of CB Locally Collected Local Sales Tax.

Expect you to treat the place like you would if you knew your mom might drop in. It is a mellow atmosphere, but we have worked hard to make it cute at a reasonable price point, so would we appreciate it being left in the same way you found it. We charge only the minimal cleaning fee to turn the property. We do not expect you to do laundry, but we DO NOT expect to do your dishes when you leave.

RESORT LIVING is the life for me! I grew up in Horseshoe Bay, Texas - a laid back lake town just outside of Austin - full of summer fun on the water with family and friends. I discovered Crested Butte in 1994 and have spent many years here, having that same great fun with good people but instead in the snow and hiking the amazing wildflower trails.
There were a few years away, attending George Washington University, where I earned a Master's Degree in Sustainable Development from the School of Business and Public Policy Management and attended two years at the University of Denver School of Law.
But I couldn't stay away for long and returned to start my own real estate brokerage, Colorado Legacy Properties and continue as an investor, property manager and proud, but perpetually renovating homeowner.
