My apartment is like Melrose Place - resort-like, laid-back, lots of sunlight and a pool in the complex! I'm right in the center of West Hollywood, by a Whole Foods, Starbucks. It's a 10minute walk to Sunset Blvd and all the bars/clubs up there and also 10min walk to Melrose with all its shopping. I'm also close to several bus lines that get you to the train station and also out west to Santa Monica. I'm also really close to Runyon Canyon which is a great hiking spot in LA. Also right by the West Hollywood Farmer's Market which opens every Monday 9AM-2PM. They sell fresh "no-spray" and organic veggies/fruits. Great mushroom guy there too. Very LA thing to do.
It's a quiet building/street, mostly young people, cool neighbors. I get a lot of natural light. Apartment has parking permit and laundry in the building. (Parking permit allows you to park on the street, but please be aware that there are 2 street cleaning days, which the permit does not exclude you from). Have all modern amenities - internet (wirelesss), TV + DVD player (no channels, only plays DVD's), fridge, freezer, oven, garbage disposal, good shower pressure. Yes iron/no ironing board, blowdryer.
Clean linens provided + clean towels.
Also, just to put it out there, the walls are on the thin side, a disadvantage to an older building. But for the price, it's a steal!
I'm a cool down-to-earth chick who would like rent this out to another laid-back, trustworthy person. The $200 deposit will be returned as long as everything is good to go.
No crazy late night parties, very quiet mellow apartment complex.
No overnight guests.
No smoking in the apt or in the complex, you have to go out to front steps. Which is a nice view of a wide tree-lined street anyway!
Just be respectful of the fact that there are other people in the complex!
Hey guys! I'm an actor/filmmaker in LA. Nothing beats the weather out here! I love watching movies but also love making them. I'm laid-back, my style of BNB hosting is probably just to treat my apartment as if it were your own - to feel comfortable but still be respectful. And get out and see the city!
BTW: my name's pronounced IAN like the boy's name, and spelled with an "i"
