Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
Private double bedroom, in house on the Avenue in Southampton. This is one of two lets we have in my private residential home.

This is a private room as part of my residential home with shared bathroom. The bathroom is upstairs and shared between myself and the guest.

Ideally this room would be suited to anyone working for longer periods in the city. We do have a private en-suite room which is downstairs and tucked out of the way on the ground floor for shorter stays.

The space
Gorgeous central location, 1st-floor double bedroom with leafy dual aspect. Shared bathroom with the upstairs listing. Please note we have 2 listings on Airbnb, one has a private bathroom this one does not but is very lovely and a little larger than the downstairs room with great storage for longer stays.

Guest access
The kitchen/breakfast area is useable if you are here for a longer stay but please let me know beforehand as it is on request. I do provide a tea service within the room for guests also which we would prefer guests to use, to avoid disturbing guests in the downstairs Airbnb where possible in the early morning. Of course if you want to pop down to the kitchen feel free.

Please note, we only allow use 9am - 9pm as our other Airbnb is just off the kitchen. Also please do, purchase your own groceries, we will happily provide forgotten items but don't offer supplies.

During your stay
I work between 8.30 - 5.30pm but largely am reachable and not that far away :) However appreciate totally it is your space, so can be however chatty you would prefer.

Other things to note
We do have two Airbnb listings but one is upstairs and the other downstairs, very rarely do bookings overlap but just to make you aware. All doors are lockable and secure if required.

I also have two small dogs at the property (Shih-Tzus) Ruby & Polly whom are kept out of the way and are very friendly. Do let me know if you have any aversion to dogs and I will ensure they are kept out of the way.
