The space
The Meeting House is part of the historical Thomas Shop complex of buildings which comprises Museum Shop, Arts and Crafts Gallery, Wool Emporium and Engine room café serving excellent Coffee, tea and hot chocolate, homemade cakes, scones, soups, panini’s all made on the premises.
The cafe will operate outdoors from the 1st of May 2021 in line with Welsh Covid rules. We can provide access to the shop and gallery by arrangement.

The Meeting House is a beautiful grade 2 listed stand alone building. A simple layout of 1 main room upstairs comprising a comfy King size bed that can be converted into 2 singles (Please request when booking), a single bed plus optional extra single futon (please request when booking).
Downstairs has comfortable sofa and arm chairs plus large extendable dining room table. The sofa converts to a large single/small double bed (please request when booking). There is a small kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and mini cooker plus the wet room bathroom.

The downstairs facilities are accessible and so suitable for guests with mobility issues (Access is currently restricted due to Covid-19, if you have mobility concerns please discuss with us and we will try to accommodate).
Guests have access to the property garden situated on the banks of the river Ithon with views of Llandegley Rocks. A lovely place to enjoy a cream tea from our in house café with the soothing sounds of the river.

Off road parking is on the riverside of the property and so not adjacent to the building however it's only a minute away and a wheelbarrow or trolley is available to move your things if required.
We are happy to provide lock up for push/mountain bikes.

Travel cot and high chair are all available but due to the size of the property they are stored elsewhere when not needed, please let us know if you need them when booking.
Although not part of the holiday let, we are happy to assist on request when we can with washing and drying of clothes if you come in wet from a walk or bike ride and also have iron and ironing board if required.

We can also make packed lunches. Please message us for prices and availability.

Guest access
Guests have the whole of the Meeting House plus access to the family and Cafe garden which sits on the banks of the River Ithon.

The Museum and Gallery can be visited by request if they are not open at the time of visiting due either to our public opening hours of Covid rules.

Other things to note
Please note that we have had to change a few things in relation to how we greet you and what is provided due to Covid-19:
We would still like to greet you in person, though we will of course do this with the appropriate social distancing. However, if you would prefer to arrange self check in this is also possible.
Access to the Meeting House will be via a slightly different route than before but it's still very easy.
We have signed up to the AirBnB cleaning protocol to be able to reassure guests that the Meeting House will be as clean and as sanitised as we are able to manage. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any specific questions in relation to this.
We are imposing a 48hr gap between guests where possible but always at least 24hrs that Airbnb recommend.
Sadly we cannot provide as a big a welcome pack as we have done previously and we are currently not offering Cooked Breakfasts as part of the paid extras that were possible to purchase via the cafe. We will bring this back online once we feel able to do so safely and comfortably.
