Anyway, I shall be there for those who want to cycle!!
Golf lovers have two magnificent golfs in a 15 km radius; the Tamarina golf and the Paradis Hotel golf. Both are 18 holes. A round of golf at Tamarina is at Eur 40 excluding cart.
Black River is also renowned for big game fishing. Our house is located barely 5 minutes walk from the jetty from where fishing boats depart in the morning. We have friends in the business and caneasily organize fishing trips.
Finally, I would likle to say that my wife and I take the rental of our house very seriously. We are very welcoming people and try our best to make our guests as comfortable as possible.
Guests have access to whatever is in the house. Basically the house is theirs once they come in!
Interaction with guests
We try to visit our guests at least once during their stay apart from the welcoming. We live 5 minutes away from our listed house and we are there to assist in case of problems or to provide good advice.
Other things to note

I am a mechanical engineer happily married to Sandrine since 17 years and father of two lovely sons, Samuel 14 and Noah 9 and a newborn babygirl, Kiara. We live in Black River which is an up and coming coastal village on the western coast of Mauritius. We have two houses there; one where we live and the other we rent. We have the sea nearby and several beautiful sand beaches. Black River is also renowned for deep sea fishing and more and more for golf, with two of the best golf courses of the island nearby. Finally, there is also the Black River National park whre one can hike in a beautiful and serene landscape.
I am an avid cyclist doing both road and mountain bike competitions at national level. I have had the chance to do mountain bike races overseas and have been a finisher at the Cape Epic in South Africa.
Besides doing a lot of sports, I also read a lot. I am into adventure and historical/mystical novels; especially those by Wilbur Smith, Dan Brown and Raymond Khoury. I have just finished reading Templar Redemption for Khoury and Assegai from Wilbur Smith; both of them very good books.
My wife is an artist and photographer and our two houses are decorated in style.
