Ichiru was ready for our call and kindly came to collect us from the train station. Mitaka is a suburban area outside Kyoto but the train journey was easy, so it was a good base for visiting Kyoto. The little house was simple but comfortable. On the last morning we had to leave early and we were very glad that Ichiru took the trouble to get up early too to take us and our bags to the station.

He is a really nice host, drove us around in town and showed us all the important spots. When asked for what to visit after our stay with him, he even draw us a map with his suggestions. Convinient location to visit Kyto, Osaka, Uji, Nara (all around 30min by train).

The house owner Ichiro is very nice and kind-hearted. He not only picked us up by car at the station when we came, but also took us to the station . Even he offered us two bikes to go around the street more conveniently. The house is Clean and well-equipped. When we arrived the first day,Ichiro wrote the card for us as the instruction to our destination. Thanks a lot for Ichiro 's arrangement.

Kuzuha is a very japanese city. it's easy to go to kyoto and Osaka. Ichirō was enthusiastic, picked us up at the station and recommended a great barbecue. It's a very happy little house, a kitchen and toilet. The bathroom is shared, and the shower goes to the big house across the street. At the supermarket, 24-hour convenience stores are close and 15 minutes to the station. I don't want to go anymore. it's so cozy! The next time i come to japan, i'll live here.

Ichiro-san was very responsive to direct Airbnb messages even before my trip. He helped me call for a restaurant booking. The neighborhood is quiet and charming with beautiful old houses, small farms and rice fields along the 15-minute walk to the nearest train station. It was very considerate of Ichiro-san to pick us up on the day of arrival and send us off at the train station again after check-out. Otherwise we would have to navigate a moderately confusing route to his house on foot, with our heavy suitcases. This little house provides a lot of privacy as it is detached from the main house where other guests shared one toilet and bath. I was glad to have a private toilet and basic kitchenette in my house. The main kitchen in the shared house allowed us to cook breakfast while socializing with other guests. There was a washer and clothes lines in the yard that we could use. I would stay with Ichiro-san again and at his other family properties in Kyoto.
