The farmhouse which sleeps up to 24 guests, has been beautifully restored offering the comfort of modern conveniences whilst maintaining the character of the original property for large groups of friends or families. Inside the farm house there is a large kitchen with seating for up to 24 guests, large sitting room and 6 bedrooms over 3 floors with a combination of single/double and bunkbeds.
Looking for space for more people then we also have The Hay Barn which can sleeps a further 6 guests.

The space
Up the steps from the farm yard, through the original farm house door, you are welcomed into the warm large kitchen and seating area for up to 24 guests. There is plenty of space to cook and eat for all your guests. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for large numbers of people with a large fridge, double oven with 5 ring ceramic hob and dishwasher, just off the kitchen is a large utility/boot room which has extra sinks and a freezer. Adjacent is the downstairs shower room.

Through the kitchen there is a large sitting room to one side of the staircase and opposite a double bedroom. There is a door at the end of the corridor, which goes out on to the private garden which has a fire pit, wooden picnic bench seating and a charcoal BBQ.

On the first floor, there are 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms (made up of single and bunk beds) and in the attic space, fondly know as the 'bee hive', we have 6 single beds, a double bed and en-suite bathroom.

Wanting more sleeping space? We also have The Hay Barn on the farm (listed on Airbnb) which can accommodate a further 6 guests in a dormitory style sleeping space, with a large seating area and large kitchen. The Hay Barn also comes with an amazing outside space, fire pit, BBQ and pizza oven. Why not take over the whole farm but remember quiet hours are after 11pm as the on site farmer need his sleep.

The farmhouse, sits in the middle of working farm and the daily routine continues whilst you are staying.

We are situated in the Golden Valley, within easy reach of the Black Mountains, Offa's Dyke and the Brecon Beacons, Lower Wernduu guests benefit from wonderful walks in the wilds of the countryside. With walking available directly from the door, once on site, the car keys can be hidden away for the duration of your stay.

The Farmhouse is part of the Jamie's Farm charity. Jamie’s Farm supports vulnerable young people nationwide to thrive academically, socially and emotionally through a unique residential programme hosted on this farm Monday to Friday. The programme is a blend of ‘Farming, Family, Therapy and Legacy’ where children take on real jobs with purpose punctuated with therapeutic support. The programme is in high demand at this site and four others across the country, with strong evidence for fewer school exclusions, increased engagement at school, improved wellbeing and the development of essential life skills.

During weekends and bank holidays, when the farm is not being used, we can offer it for large groups of friends/family gatherings, all monies raised feed back into the charity.

Please note that we have another Airbnb property on site so you may well meet other guests whilst visiting. Both properties have separate fenced off garden areas.
