Cosy 40 m² loft studio in a century-old house (150 years old), located in Placeta de la Miga; a stone's throw from Cuesta de Gomérez and just a few minutes' walk from the Alhambra, the Cathedral and the Albaicín. Perfect for couples or solo travellers looking for charming accommodation with a fast connection for remote working.

* Layout & beds — Studio loft on the first floor (no lift). Open plan: sleeping area with a double bed (135 × 190 cm), living area with TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with Italian coffee maker. Bathroom: one full bathroom.

* Work & connectivity — Fibre 300 Mbit/s with an Ethernet socket (excellent for hybrid or full-time remote work).

* Comfort — Split air-conditioning (cold/heat) operated by remote control; 80 L electric water heater (automatic). If hot water is ever missing, please check the circuit box at the apartment entrance and let us know.

One of the most charming viewpoints in Granada, it is undoubtedly the viewpoint of the Churra neighborhood. From there you can admire Albaicín with a totally different perspective. This neighborhood was occupied since the 14th century with Africans from the Vélez de la Gomera mountain ranges, known as Gomeres. They were the Emir's personal guard, and they were going to serve in the militias. The Gomeres settled on Mauror's Hill (Mawrûr), or “from the Aguadores,” in reference to the people who lived there who were going to sell water to the city.

To get to Mirador de la Churra, we will pass the Placeta de la Miga, which is located, going up to the left, in the middle of the Cuesta de Gomérez. The toponymia of this place refers to the existence in the "schools" area.

The crumbs were already in the 16th century and were operating until the first third of the 20th century. They consisted of a judo-school, or rather a kindergarten system that arose from the need. The less affluent families were left in charge of a local woman, whether widowed or single, with the care of her children under the age of six, while both parents were going to work. The girls were admitted until they were 10 years old.
