This cottage is a very unique property located just off of I-65 for easy access in and out of downtown Nashville and a couple miles to Anchor High Marina at Old Hickory Lake. You get a country feel of TN charm that you will not find in the city on this 1.3 acres of land. The location is perfect with all the benefits of being close to nature, but yet only 20 minutes from hot spots such as East Nashviile. Plus, parking is a breeze in the over-sized attached two car garage. Dogs ok!

The space
The cottage boasts a unique interior design with vaulted ceilings in the great room, dining room, and eat-in style kitchen. It is similar to cabins that you would find in the Smoky Mountains. The home is decorated in a country farmhouse style. Guests will also enjoy the high speed internet and Smart TVs with Amazon firesticks in the living room and bedroom. There is a large sunroom with 10 panoramic windows for guests to the enjoy the scenic views. A large stone outdoor firepit is available for guests to use during their stay as well as a large patio with a pergola. Fishing supplies are kept at the house in the garage for guests to enjoy recreational fishing at Old Hickory Lake.

Guests can park multiple vehicles on the property as needed, and boats are welcome, as long as all vehicles are kept in the garage or driveway of the house. Note: Vehicles are not allowed on the street in front of the house, but this house has a huge driveway and garage that can fit multiple vehicles.

Also, the home is VERY clean, bedroom carpets are environmentally & professionally cleaned on a regular basis.

Please note that that as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic, parties are not allowed at the house. I kindly ask that no more than 6 people be allowed inside the house at any given time.

Where you’ll be

Hendersonville, Tennessee, United States

This is one of the most sought after suburbs of Nashville, with million dollar estates tucked throughout the beautiful rolling hills in this area. You may see several deer in the yard while you are here, especially in the morning while you are having your coffee in the sunroom. It is home to many country music stars, such as the Oakridge Boys (their manager lives just across the street in a beautiful private estate). This area was also the home to Johnny Cash and his wife June Carter Cash. Johnny Cash's custom built 4+ acres estate on Old Hickory Lake is just a few miles away. Their gravesite memorial is also located just a couple miles away at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens located at 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Visitors from all over the world come to this area each year to pay tribute to the "Man in Black" as well as take advantage of other tourist sites located close to the house on the Ring of Fire Trail.

Inside the house you will have a house manual, which is loaded with suggestions for many areas of interest, restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing around Hendersonville, Nashville, and other area of this region of Tennessee.

I purchased this unique home close to Old Hickory Lake about 11 years ago. I love the location and the house. It's my little slice of Tennessee heaven. As Nashville has grown tremendously over the years, I have become very appreciative of this location. I did not want to live in the now congested urban areas around downtown Nashville, but I wanted to be close to shopping, restaurants, and get in and out of downtown Nashville easy. In my opinion, the suburb of Hendersonville is the best location to do just that. And I think you will feel the same once you come and experience this property. This is very peaceful community, and you'll have tons of privacy and feel like your in the TN countryside. There's so much to do and see all over this region, so this house is a great place to anchor and then get out there and explore!
