Quarrymans Cottage Nr the Lake

The Lounge

Exposed beams, central heating & fairy lighting all help to set the scene offering a nice warm & cosy little chill pad. The lounge has a 40 inch Smart TV which runs of the super fast WiFi enabling the viewing of all associated apps ‘’there is no TV aerial’’. A DVD player & Six port USB charger have also been provided.

Over on the book shelf within the dining area you will find a wide range of DVDs, books, board & quiz games all provided for any evenings you may want to just stay in and chill. Also, you will find local guides/books detailing some attractions on offer within the National Park. I also send out my cosysnowdonia guests guide detailing places to visit with local restaurants for those memorable times together.

The Kitchen
The kitchen has been well equipped with a washing machine, microwave, electric hob, electric cooker, fridge, tassimo coffee maker ‘pods not supplied’, toaster, sandwich toaster, kettle, smoothie maker, cutlery & crockery and all wares needed to aid your stay. I have supplied a slow cooker enabling preparation of meals before venturing out. I have installed an Echo Dot so you can listen to music whilst enjoying a glass or two of wine.

The Bathroom
The bathroom is fitted with a bath and over head shower. Clean fresh bath towels are supplied for guests, there is also a hair dryer for guests personal use. There is no shaving socket within the bathroom. When showering, taller guests should be mindful of the exposed beam which we have identified with a hazard sign.

The Bedrooms
The two bedrooms both have double beds.

Bedroom one has a view out over rolling sheep fields whilst bedroom two looks up to the stars. Both bedrooms are centrally heated with double glazed windows, both bedrooms offer a relaxing warm cosy cottage feel. Hot water bottles are also supplied to ensure your bed can be warm and cosy on the coldest of those Welsh winter nights.

Monday evenings the mobile fish and chip van visits the village. Grab your camera and some chips and walk over to lake Trawsfynydd I promise you will slumber into the view.

Please respect your neighbours, the beautiful countryside and the tranquillity of the village. Please DO NOT litter. Keep your pet on its lead when crossing sheep fields down to the lake and always close any gates you may go through.

Please check out my Guests Guide Book within our listing which details places of interest with suggestions on local pubs and restaurants.

I hope you enjoy your stay and create some wonderful memories....!

Kind regards

Sean

Please remember the cottage is dated to 1840 so it is not a modern five star hotel however it is extremely authentic creating a lovely warm cosy feel.

I hope you enjoy your stay and leave feeling totally refreshed.
