We are a B&B, goat farm and vacation rental. Look us up on line, and you will see the entire array of available accommodations. We have camper rentals, rooms in lodge have either two twins, king or queen beds. Suites have two rooms and two beds.

The space

I dont think there is anyplace like our little lodge and farm. We are very self sufficient and like to education people about goats, chickens, greenhouse production, etc, if they wish! NOTE: calendar is not accurate. Go to my website for complete availability. thanks (EMAIL HIDDEN)

Guest access

The lodge, trailer area, Ti-pi, 20 acres, the barn, greenhouse, hot tub, deck and great room, library, dining area. Fire Pit, coffee/tea in kitchen.

Interaction with guests

We are here for our guests needs, friendly, but non-intrusive.

Other things to note

We raise dairy goats. They provide us with dairy products along with our hens and we also grow a great deal of produce in our greenhouse. We are 420 friendly.

This was a perfect place for our stay as it is close to Salida, the hot springs and hiking/skiing. That said, it was the charm of the place, the kind hosts and well, add baby goats and friendly dogs and my wife and I are pretty happy! We would definitely stay here again.

Mountain Goat Lodge was a wonderful weekend retreat! The farm, and the entire Arkansas River Valley, are stunning, with unlimited opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and soaking in hot springs. I would highly recommend staying with Gina and company at the lodge!

We had a super romantic, beautiful babymoon getaway at the Mountain Goat Lodge! We had such an amazing view of the mountains from our room... Gina was very accommodating to my special pregnancy diet. Delicious breakfast! There was always hot cocoa and coffee available to warm up with. Great location! Sweet hosts! Great farm life right outside the door.

Our too short time at Mtn Goat Lodge was a delight. The room was so comfortable and clean with everything we could possibly need and the Lodge itself is so relaxing and soothing. Gina was a wonderful host and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and stimulating conversation with her and fellow guests over the wonderful food. Thank you Gina!

Gina was quick to approve my request to stay as it was last minute. The accommodations were exactly as explained. She did however add an $8 charge for something when we arrived, that wasn't explained in the description.

Response from Gina:
The additional 8.00 was for taxes. We are a registered business, not just a private home - and as such are subject to city, county and state lodging and sales taxes. I tried to increase the price on my listing to include the taxes, but Airbnb has not accepted the price change.

We are casual and informal, this is a small hobby farm. No doilies or lace or fancy furniture. We serve hearty country food locally sourced from our green house and our dairy goats. The rooms are spacious and comfy and well decorated.
We originally came from Seattle to seek the sun of Colorado. Too much gray in the northwest. We brought the goats and other animals with us. We run a B&B and enjoy meeting all types of people from all around. Gina is an animal lover, and especially fanatic about goats. Not to be upstaged however by her dogs, and chickens and llama. She will talk for hours about them. She also enjoys greenhouse gardening, HBO, cooking, and playing the piano. Husband Darcy is a retired Marine Electrical officer, he makes a mean latte and will fix most anything that needs fixing.
