Our studio is entirely self contained. It is on the ground floor so great for people with children or those wanting minimum steps. The studio is clean, comfortable and spacious. It has two bedrooms. One king (with A/C) and one with two single beds (no A/C). The studio has a shower, toilet and wash basin. There is hot water. Towels and bedlinen are supplied.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, new gas stove, washing machine.

The studio is 2 minutes to the bus stop. Buses run regularly and are very cheap.
The nearest beach is Paradise Beach. This is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the World and is only 10 minutes walk, or a 2 minute drive. The beach is quiet, with stunning white sand and clear blue sea. Ideal for swimming, snorkelling, sun bathing or just relaxing. There are several local bars providing food and drink.
There are also water taxis for those wishing to visit Sandy Island, or other beaches.

The studio is close to Paradise Beach. Hillsborough town for shopping, the bank, good restaurants, museum and tourist information. Also, it is ideally situated for the airport which receives regular ‘hopper’ flights from Grenada. There is a ferry that comes from Grenada every day and the studio is only 6 minutes drive from the ferry. In other words, all is close to hand. Yet you are ‘off the beaten track’ and can enjoy peace and quiet in a stunning rural surround.

We were born on the island of Carriacou and moved to the UK in the late 1960’s where we happily married and settled. We worked hard and built our careers. We have 3 children and 6 Grandchildren in the UK. We fulfilled our dream of returning to Carriacou to build a retirement home on land overlooking the much loved Hillsborough Bay. We enjoy the island and growing our own vegetables and fruit in the garden. You will see our bananas, limes and tomatoes hanging in abundance on the land. Both of us love hosting people and enjoy sharing our home and knowledge of the island with visitors and friends.
