The space
This WWII Quonset Hut was remodeled in 2010. It is unique and comfortable. You can sit inside or outside on the deck and enjoy the views of Resurrection Bay. Or from the front you can view Mt Marathon. Located in the heart of Seward, between the boat harbor and downtown, both are only a few blocks away. The free shuttle bus passes within a block from the quonset hut.

Our two WWII Quonset huts were used to house entertainers during WWII. Loraine Bacall stay in one of the huts. They were again used by the military after the 1964 earth quake. Since then they have been remodeled and updated. As my WWII friend said, "If they were this nice back then, I would still be living in one."-Bob Eads.
