Fantastic location, close to the action in Armenia street, but wonderfully quiet. Spacious with a relaxed vibe and cool interiors.

Tino and Laura’s place is great! Had a hiccup with our check-in, but Tino helped arrange transportation for our trips outside of Beirut and airport transfers. Laura provided a list of local places to eat and drink. Great place to stay!

Great area to live in, funky apartment, almost total silence (Exept from weekends in Mar Mikhael which is natural) and a nice host which easy to communicate with.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Beirut, don't waste your time checking other places. Location and facilities were great and Tino's hospitality and helpfulness is all you need for a great stay in this fantastic city.

Tino couldn't have been a better a host. Very warm and responsive and his local tips were always spot on perfect. For one person, the apartment is massive, and could easily accommodate larger groups without feeling at all crowded. Some of the city's best eating spots are right ou…

The host had us moved to another property, his 3 bedroom apartment also listed on Airbnb, despite our chosen booking. The apartment is in a good location if you enjoy night life, although the house is not at all suited for families. The host was incredibly negligent and made the …

Response from Tino:
Hello Nilesh, thank you for the review. It’s a real pity the way you saw the apartment, claiming it’s not how it looks on the pics, weirdly you’re the first guest to say so, and that’s after hosting over a 100 guests. As for the check in, to be in the wrong Bldg, I’m sorry the taxi you took mis-led you, you should’ve just followed the directions written here on airbnb, again it’s the first time a guest gets in the wrong Bldg :) As for the broken door, yes, the previous guest had an accident and it was a Sunday, so doors don’t get replaced on the spot, but finally it was done, and of course with the follow up of Airbnb case managers. The location is one of the best in Beirut, of course if you want to wander around and get a sense of modern Beirut, in its youth and lifestyle, but I guess that’s not your style. Again, after reading all the reviews, I know it’s a fact, so your opinion is very personal and it will stay that way. Lastly, I have moved you to a bigger apartment, more expensive, better located, for the same price, and that was supposed to be an “upgrade”, which you clearly said upon check in, that you wanted to book it, but it was too big for you. Dirty rags and piles of sheets, well you came in in the middle of cleaning, and I’m happy we had piles of them to send to laundry. As for the broken mirrors, I’m not sure where you saw that, the only mirror pieces are perhaps the mirror tiles in the bathroom, which are designed that way, it’s the only thing I can refer to. Finally, I hope you’re the one taking these matters in hand and not your teenager daughter writing the reviews, just like the report she did at 6am. It’s perfectly fine with me, but you’re just not welcome here :)
