Description

The space

Fabulous views. Comfortable and quiet. You can hear the birds outside your window in the morning. Double bed (will fit a 6 footer), desk, wifi, cable tv and closet space. But you don't have to stay in your room - you're welcome to roam the house and grounds, use the gym, and spa, make yourself at home. Do your business by the pool with your laptop and a great cup of coffee in the morning.

Guest access

You're free to use the well appointed kitchen, workout room, laundry, library or living room. As well as the pool (not heated) and therapeutic spa. I'm on 10 acres of natural desert where you can feel free to roam.

Interaction with guests

I live on the premises. I will help you in any way I can to make your stay enjoyable. I only take one reservation at a time. I know Tucson and many of the hiking trails.

The neighbourhood

Desert living. Very secluded. Lots of stars. No street lights. The desert is beautiful in the spring! Everything is blooming. Lots of colors and smells. There are many places to mt. bike and hike. Catalina State Park is nearby. There are golf courses and all the city amenities minutes away.

Getting around

We do have Uber here. But best to have/rent a car to get around. Let me know your transportation needs and I can possibly help you, such as getting to or from the airport and to a rental agency.

Other things to note

I have 2 dogs. 1 tiny old girl and 1 young border collie. They're well mannered and will leave you alone unless you want to play :)

What a great place to stay if you want to see some of the awesome beauty of the Sonoran desert. Cindy was a wonderful host, who greeted us and showed us around, and allowed us to wander around her beautiful property with her friendly dog, Angel. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for the three days we stayed there. We hope to come back soon!

Cindy was an excellent host. I was worried about whether my daughter (18months) would be okay to stay. Cindy was very welcoming and the home was a great fit for our little family. The house is set back from the main road so it's peaceful. You can hear only the crickets at night and birds in the morning. The accommodations were comfortable and homey. The views were incredible. We felt relaxed and peaceful here. Even though our visit was short it was affordable and perfect for us. Thanks Cindy!

This was our first stay in an AirBnB - such a great introduction! Cindy is the ultimate hostess - we felt like family! The pool and hot tub were a great bonus. The house is within a 1/2 hour to downtown Tucson and great hiking. The huge property offered great hiking, too. What a gem!

What a special and unique place. We had a wonderful time. Cindy and Chris are very friendly and accommodating. The space was perfect - very comfy bed in a private room and a nice private bathroom. The location was very tranquil. We loved sitting by the pool in the morning in the warm desert sun and gazing at the stars in the hot tub at night. It was so relaxing! It is a rural setting with beautiful cacti and plenty of wildlife (including their very sweet dogs, Angel and Shorty Girl). It is close to conveniences - about a 5 minute drive from Fry's - a good-sized grocery store, gas station, etc. Also, it is about a 15 minute drive to Catalina State Park. We hiked the Romero Pools trail - it was awesome. I recommend it.

This home is located on a ten acre piece of virgin desert with beautiful cactus and wildlife. You can see the mountains and desert, you cannot see the city. It was a good location for us, driving all over northern Tucson. You need a car, it's a long walk to any facilities.

Cindy User ProfileCindy is a superhost.

I am an artist. I paint murals among other things. I have a working studio near downtown Tucson. I also do all types of graphic design work on the computer for clients. I've traveled the US and been to Europe several times. I was blessed to have taken a couple painting workshops in Italy. I prefer staying at b&b's, much more personal than a hotel/motel. It's what gave me the desire to have my own. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. I love the desert and I want to share the beauty of it with others. I appreciate the wildlife, and there's always something to see. I love the quiet of the desert but I'm only a short drive to all the city action. I'm really an outdoor enthusiast. If you want to know of some good hiking trails I can steer you in the right direction. I really hope people enjoy their stay and I'll do all I can to make them comfortable!
