Alison is the perfect host and made my brother and I feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Her lovely house is in a quiet residential road, perfectly placed for the Burrell Collection and Pollock Park. I will be travelling to Glasgow regularly over the next few years and would definitely stay with Alison again.

Alison is a lovely host, who made us very welcome in her interesting and attractive home, not far from the Burrell Collection. We very much enjoyed our weekend stay in 'the blue room' , a nice, big, light front bedroom. The well prepared and presented breakfasts made a good start to the day, and Alison was both friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back here. Thanks, Alison, for a lovely weekend.

Alison made us feel incredibly welcome at her home over the few days we stayed with her. As well as being responsive and very helpful, her flexibility was paramount. The room we stayed in had all that we needed and more; clean, light, spacious and comfortable. The location was great; just a few minutes walk from the train station and a short bus ride from the subway. Her home was beautiful and welcoming, providing just the warm stay that we wanted.

Alison made us feel very welcome and at home. She provided us with everything we needed and was very accommodating. She was also very communicative in the run up to the stay which made logistics a lot easier. The area was nice and perfect for our visits to Hampden Park.

We enjoyed our stay at Alison's house very much. She's a very open-minded and charming person. Our arrival was also perfectly organised, her son Callum welcomed us, made us feel at home instantly and even brought us to the airport at the end. The familyroom was big, cozy and clean, the shared bathroom as well. For breakfast everything was on the table like at home. We could choose what we want for breakfast the day before. Thanks a lot Alison and Callum for beeing our hosts! Flurina and Simone

I have lived in this house for 28 years and have always made the most of it! When my children were small I ran it afor several years until my other career became too demanding. I have more time now and the children have flown the nest (although the labrador and cat stay on). I do love my empty nest but feel that my third age should have a bit more new activity in it. I am arty and creative in lots of ways and the house reflects this. I have been working in theatre for many years both artistically and administratively. I am a fairly laid back person and take a lot of life's highs and lows in my stride. As a traveller now I am more into comfort and ease than my young days of inter rail journeys and attendant excitement, poverty and expectation!
