Axel was great communicating, and he and his girlfriend were accommodating to our request when we had to stay a few days longer. They greeted us warmly at their apartment, showed us around, and they even had laminated info on restaurants, attractions, and how to use the washer. The apartment was as advertised, small with an inviting balcony overlooking the generally quiet Rue Broca. The kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom were all hospitable, comfortable, and clean. It was hot, but closing the inner and exterior blinds kept the apartment very cool. The area is inviting with the nearby Rue Mouffetard, street dancing on Sunday, and nearby metro stops. There is also a great morning sidewalk market nearby on Rue Port Royal with fresh cheeses, breads, and delicious galettes. We stayed for over two weeks, and Axel was quick to respond when something came up that needed attention. Plus, the apartment was on the fifth floor, and the building had an elevator. Do you know how rare an elevator is in this town?! All in all, it was great stay, and we'd contact him again in a heartbeat for a next stay in Paris.
