Peter was the best host I've had. He was there when we needed to check in really early and made an amazing English breakfast. The cabin was cozy and the area was quiet. Definitely recommend.

A delightful nights stay in the cosy little lodge with twinkling lights and candles. The weather wasn't kind but it was actually lovely to hear the rain but be warm and dry....a bit like posh camping. The gardens are delightful and I saw a large Bird I couldn't define but I will let you know when I find the description.

A beautiful wooden lodge set within an equally beautiful garden of the main B+B. The lodge is kept immaculately and has absolutely everything you need (tea, coffee, towels, sleeping bags, candles, playing cards...) contained within. Peter also cooked us an exceptional fried breakfast in the morning and gave us plenty of help for things to do in the area. Located within a few minutes drive to the main attractions on Purbeck so we're already planning our next trip!

We stayed in the Lapland Lodge in the garden of April Cottage. We had a beautiful stay in quite simply one of the most stunning residential gardens I have ever seen. The lodge is excellent, fun and quirky and with lots of little thoughtful touches within the decor and the extras. Peter and Joey are truly lovely and generous hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and lodge ( just take note their is no shower in the lodge) - this is my first ever booking with Air BnB and won't be the last.

Myself and two kids had a lovely stay with Peter and Joey. Lots of fun, plenty to do locally and a very warm welcome from the hosts.

Magical little lodge in the perfect setting. Nestled under a 300 year tree ( fir maybe) and the noise of the little steam train sailing by every so often this setting really couldn't be better for a break away. The garden is stunning too. We were greeting in such a friendly way by Peter and shown to the lodge . It actually feels bigger inside than the photos. Every detail mastered to perfection. You could very well be in a little Swiss mountain retreat. The little kitchen was an added bonus and was very well and tastefully equipped. My son loved the lodge and it was really magical with all the tea lights and candles. It felt really special at night and we enjoyed many card games through the night. ( certainly beats Playstation ) the first night we did wake feeling a little cold but put on the little heater for a while and warmed up but if you are sensitive to the cold take some extra warm blankets. The breakfasts were just stunning, beautiful fruit , wonderful cooked breakfast with high quality products that were all delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. My son , much to his delight was offered some yummy little Easter eggs after he'd eaten which made him very happy. We really could not fault this wonderful gem of a b &b and will certainly go back one day. Thank you Peter and Joey
