Welcome to the newly restored 18th century Carriage House. At one time, the home belonged to a wealthy merchant and his noble stead’s. Today, it has been transformed into a beautiful loft maintaining its historic charm with modern day amenities. It is perfect for a romantic getaway for two or a quiet retreat for one - just minutes from downtown Kingston and everything this beautiful City has to offer!

The space
The Carriage House has been divided into two units. You can find Unit 1 listed on Airbnb.

When you open the door to your charming getaway home, you will notice a warm and open concept kitchen and living room complete with new appliances (including dishwasher), kitchen supplies, grand island and cozy sofa. The open pinewood staircase to the master suite creates an airy affect. As you walk up the stairs, your beautiful bedroom slowly reveals itself with exposed beams, spacious layout, and textiles to keep your senses happy. You will find a half bathroom on the main level and a full bathroom with a CLAW FOOT TUB, shower, and LAUNDRY MACHINES on the second level. There is also a large walk in closet in the master bedroom. And of course we have Netflix.

The Carriage House is able to accommodate three people, as we have a twin size memory foam mattress cot reserved for you. Extra sheets, blankets, and pillows are available for you should you need this amenity.

The Carriage House is located a few blocks from “The Hub” on Princess St. A couple minute drive (or 10 minute walk) will take you to the downtown core where you will find local hot spots, shopping, outdoor activities, and the waterfront. There is a convenience store just next door if you forgot something, but the grocery store is only a 5 minute walk.

Just down the street from our door is Skeleton Park. It’s not as scary as it sounds, although at one time it was the burial site for Kingston (hence its name). Now the park hosts festivals and community gatherings throughout the year. It is a Kingston staple.
