When traveling, the thing you want most is a room that's clean, private and safe, right? That's what you'll find in your own guest-suite which is always sparkling clean (read reviews) with extra attention to all the little details.
There is a small fridge, microwave and hot water kettle for your convenience but no sink, kitchen or laundry facilities.

The space
What makes this room so great?
***Separate Entrance. After parking, walk thru the gate and come in through the lockable sliding door. You can come and go as you please via the separate entrance.
***En-Suite. The private bathroom is connected to the sleeping quarters. The bathroom is for your use only....and it's fabulous!
***Luxe Lounge Area. There is a separate sitting area with a full-sized sofa. Two friends traveling together can sleep separately (after coin toss for who gets the queen bed!). No charge for extra sheets.
***Queen Bed w/Memory Foam. Super comfy memory foam topper will have you sleeping like a baby!
***Blackout Shade & Drapes. You need sleep...I get it! Drawn down the shade and close the drapes and you will be in a snug, darken cocoon!
***Smoke-Free Environment. This has always been a non-smoking property. No lingering odors.

Experience peace, quiet and privacy in a clean, uncluttered space. The backyard is a rejuvenating space filled with mature shade trees, a nice patio for relaxing, birds and the occasional squirrel.

My house is located near downtown Novato in a safe single-family home neighborhood.

You'll be centrally located , about 30-40 minutes, to lots of great visitor destinations, such as Napa or Sonoma wine country, the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco, Oakland, Berkely, Sausalito, Muir Woods, the West Marin coast line and Pacific Ocean, the Cheese Trail, etc.

Or, if you're here for business, you'll be a short ten-minute walk to Grant Avenue where there are lots of shops and restaurants. And finally, a half-block away is a strip shopping center with a CVS drugstore, a burger joint, a taqueria, an Indian place, and a donut shop. Nothing fancy but definitely convenient.

Guest access
The entire guest quarters and bathroom are yours. The backyard is shared, but your room opens up onto the side yard where I won't usually need go during your stay. *Note...you will be staying in the master bedroom in my home, but your room is locked off from the rest of the house for mutual privacy. That said, occassionally, you may hear or see my dog Stan in the shared yard or sounds from my side of the house.

Super fast internet for streaming movies on your devices.

I do have a small dog, Stan, who has access to the yard. He's friendly.

Neighbourhood highlights

This is a residential neighborhood in beautiful Marin County.
Around town, there are many good places to eat and get coffee, go hiking or take leisurely flat walks, go cycling or golfing, or go shopping.
The Sonoma wine country can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car through beautiful country side. And the Golden Gate Bridge / San Francisco is also a 30 minute drive by car with lots of places to see in between. For adventurers, my location in west Novato is super close to great hiking trails in Point Reyes/Pt Reyes National Seashore, Drakes Landing, Tomales Bay, Olema, Mt Tam, Golden Gate National Recreational Area, Stinson Beach. Other location attractions are SMART Train, Sears Point Race, the California Cheese Trail, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Caneros Valley wine area, Somoma wine tasting, etc.
