Detailed Description:
Casa Wisteria is just what you have been looking for, only a 15 minute walk to the Plaza (.8 miles). Imagine yourself entering through a sky blue painted wooden door supported by classic adobe plaster walls into a patio you never want to leave. Then you open the front door to your adobe home and the gracious living room is so inviting you and your family and friends decide to sit and gather around its stunning kiva fireplace and settle into your Santa Fe Style home. The living room is open and comfortable with an open space layout to both the inside and outside dining areas. The large picture windows flood the main room with natural light. This room features high wood ceilings and vigas that are white washed adding to the light of this room. Here everybody can relax after a hard day exploring the sights and sounds of Santa Fe in front of large flat screen TV as well. There aretwo sleeper sofas, one queen and one full in the living room as well so the home can accommodate up to six. The Mexican tile floors through out the house have radiant heat for those chilly winter nights. In the summer you will be so comfortable with the Mitsubishi air conditioning with individual room controls for comfort. The Mitsubishi units also provide heat for quick warmups on cool mountain nights.

Your kitchen is delightful with hand made handsome New Mexican tin cabinetry and natural stone tile. White washed wooden cabinetry and of course is fully equipped. The kitchen opens to the dining and living room.

Down the hall on the main first floor is your master bedroom. The master includes a king size bed with gorgeous bedding with its own 42” flat screen TV. One of the most inviting features of the master is the French doors which open to a private patio just off the master were the couple staying in this room can enjoy a glass of wine and some privacy. An old wisteria vine graces the portal giving the home its name. The master has a full bath with a walk in shower, separate tub and a double sink. All detailed with natural stone tiles.

Upstairs you will get gentle views of the mountains out of the second bedroom windows. The second queen bedroom has its own bathroom with walk in shower and again delightful natural stone tile.

Enjoy Santa Fes famed sunsets from the quiet oasis of your front patio. Home is equipped with table and chairs, patio furniture, a portal, stone work, a sweet birdbath and intimate gardens. Here you will be tempted to stay home and barbecue instead of taking in one of Santa Fes fine restaurants.

Nice two bedroom with a lot of light. Very clean with a very well appointed kitchen and plenty of towels in the bathroom. In a quiet neighborhood. Description is very accurate and checkin and checkout process is easy. Around a 3/4 mile walk to the square and various restaurants, galleries, museums, etc. Part of the walk doesn't have sidewalks, but there's a wide berm and it's a safe walk. Would definitely stay here again or at another of Wendy's properties.

Thank you for the review! We're glad that the home lived up to your expectations! Walking in Santa Fe can be a *slight* challenge, as many of the streets downtown were not designed for both cars and pedestrians! They are relics from the horse and buggy days. We hope you enjoyed Santa Fe's charms as much as we do, and we hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon.

Our party is 4 adults and 2 kids (one - a toddler). We found the place easily, using directions. The host provided instructions on how to get in and directions to the place as well. We got in late evening with no problems. The place is great -- interesting features (pueblo dwelling) with modern amenities. One bedroom downstairs, with TV, full bath and king bed. The other bedroom is upstairs -- full (?) size bed, full bath, TV. There's a nice living room with a couch, coffee table and two arm chairs, kiva fire place, and another TV. Big round table in the kitchen, with 4 chairs. Towels, toiletries, bedding -- just like you'd expect from a nice hotel. Full kitchen -- everything you need (we cooked several times); all recently remodeled and nice. All appliances (W&D, DW, microwave, stove) are nice and recent; lots of dishes, pots, pans, silverware; salt and pepper, sugar -- really, nothing needs to be brought from home. In summary -- very nice atmosphere; architecture, interior design, even plates -- all local, pueblo-style (in as much as we, the lay people, can tell). Location is great. About 4-min drive from the Plaza, to which you can walk, too. Neighborhood is quiet. We came to ski -- so, we found the perk in having the bus to the mountain (Ski Santa Fe resort) right around the corner, in Marcy Park (3 min drive with plentiful parking or just walk there). The host of the property is very responsive, providing all the necessary detail/info ahead of time. And, importantly, WiFi is great! Highly recommend this place!

This is a lovely, lovely place. This picture of the front porch -- as it looks out down the little hill -- tells it all. We Californians, parched by 4 years of drought, sat there, watched the blessed afternoon rain come over the valley, and sighed with contentment. The house held us well, and we could walk easily to the plaza (which of course was always full of life and wonderful). The gas BBQ provided two great dinners, as well.

Response from Wendy:
Thank you, Pia, for staying with Two Casitas during your recent trip! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in Wisteria and it's location! Also, that the rain didn't hinder your trip, but that you were able to enjoy it from the patio. We hope to see you back in Santa Fe! Happy Trails

Property was ready for us as we arrived. Nice touch with personalized bottle of wine. Although neighbors were very nearby it was quiet and secluded.
