I highly recommend Ze'ev's place. Ze'ev and his roommate were super friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, and made me feel right at home. The neighborhood is one of my favorites in Jerusalem -- quiet, peaceful, walkable, nice cafes. I was there for work, but if you were in Jerusalem to sightsee you'd be just a short bus ride from the tourist attractions. The apartment is bright, sunny, and clean, and the room had a lovely balcony where I drank my coffee in the morning. My only regret is that I only stayed one night!

The location is not so far away from the south of old city. It's about 20 mins walk but under the sun, it was a little hard. But the bus station is just near by. Ze'ev is nice that he helps us to reserve a shared taxi to go to the airport which really save us much time.

We had a really great time staying with these two guys, they were very helpful and it was fun talking with them about Israel and their culture. They showed us really good places to eat and gave us a lot of tips about what to see in Jerusalem. When we arrived we were greeted with coffee and a city map :). We definitely recommend staying with them.

I spent a great time with guys! Apartment is very cozy, clean and spacious. Room has very nice balcony where you can drink wine before going to sleep=). Ze'ev, Shahah and Yoni are very funny and friendly people - it was very interesting to talk with them on different topics. Also apartment is located close to the Old City and different entertainment places.

Ze'ev, Shahah & Yoni are wonderful hosts. Their flat is like a home away from home, filled with a very nice and warm energy. I enjoyed the family atmosphere : hearing their laughs and friendly talks, cooking all together, chatting on many topics… They also introduced me to a shabbat experience, which I am so grateful for ;-) The bedroom is big, the bed very comfy and the private balcony relaxing. The appartment is fitted with all the necessary needs. The neighborhood (Baka & German Colony) are very quiet and alive in the same time. You have many grocery, cafés and restaurants all around. And you are just 20 mn walk from the old city and the city center, via a nice pedestrian way. Thank you guys for all your tips and kind attentions. Take care & Keep in touch !

Staying with the guys in Bak'a was really great and I can highly recommend it. We contacted Ze'ev the day before we arrived and he replied very fast. We got some great tips on what to do in Jerusalem besides the old city - and on where to eat the best hummus! :-) We must say that we were really amazed by their hospitaliy. Initially we book two nights but quickly realized that we wanted to stay one more. They couldn't host us but found a room for us at a friends place just around the corner. Amazing gesture! The room itself was really fine with a comfy bed. The neighbourhood is very beautiful and the walk to the old city scenic - and passes by and old railway station now a great place to stop for coffee, breakfast etc. Stay in Bak'a when visiting Jerusalem!
