Susan and her husband couldn't have been better hosts for us. Welcoming us in late in the evening, into a very warm, confortable room. We didn't want for anything at all. Great accommodation bathroom and breakfast the following day was delicious :) We shall be back!

My daughter stayed with Susan and her husband while she did a veterinary placement nearby. She stayed for 2 weeks and was very well looked after throughout with plenty of space and lovely breakfasts every morning. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The perfect hosts! The rooms were actually bigger than expected, and very private. The house and garden are beautifully maintained, and cleanliness was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and every morning we felt fully charged to explore Cornwall/Devon as much as possible. Every morning, we had some ideas of where to explore given to us by Susan's husband. This was priceless!!! Susan is wonderful with children, and had plenty of toys to keep the little ones amused. Highly recommend if you wish to have a peaceful, secluded break nearby some beautiful beaches and hidden coastal gems. Thanks again!!!!

We've just returned from a wonderful stay. Fantastic hosts who are always available to help and chat, but magically disappear when you need some time on your own. We have three young daughters and the hospitality was so good that the older two think that we were staying with old friends - they can't understand why we weren't all eating our amazing cooked breakfasts together! Our girls were shown the chickens and sheep through the 'secret route', and were even taken to see a special bat visitor on the morning we left (at the same time as we packed the car - it was ideal!) Comfy rooms and everything was very clean and welcoming. We were visiting for a wedding at the Old Rectory in Pyworthy (an easy 5 minute drive away). We'd all highly recommend a stay!!

This place was amazing! Extremely comfortable and clean. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even provide some toys for our little boy and breakfast was delicious! If we weren't moving to the area we would easily come back to stay here. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. Scott, Zaimar & Zachary

We had such a lovely time at Sue & Patrick's beautiful home and garden. The room has a lovely view of the property which is so peaceful. They are such knowledgable world travellers, fab cooks and charming hosts. The wildlife was also amazing and the location is great for easy access to the coast. It was hard to leave! Look forward to coming back to stay with you both again. Thanks, Gill & Simone

We are two retired teachers with a love of travelling. At home, we have a small holding with several farm animals, and our home is only 9 miles from the lovely Cornish coast. In the winter, however, we like to get away, often to the Far East. Our daughter lives in Hong Kong, whic…
