A peaceful getaway in Down East, Robbinston, Maine which overlooks tidal Mill Cove. 3 bedroom ranch style home with deck, stone patio, large lawn area and private access to the cove. PLEASE KNOW, this home is NOT for parties, receptions of any sort. It is a residence and not purposed for large gatherings. Also, no dogs allowed; firm.

The space
This home sits on US Route 1 and overlooks the ocean and Canada. The home is in a quiet, small Down East town and is approximately 20 minutes to Eastport, which has restaurants, bars, deep sea fishing (seasonal) and whale watching tours (seasonal.) 20 minutes in the other direction will bring you to Calais, which has Walmart, drug store, restaurants and historic St. Croix Island. Home is also approximately 35 minutes to St. Andrews , New Brunswick, a popular tourist attraction in the summer. Users of the space can bring their own kayaks for use in the cove at high tide, or they can rent from a company nearby that delivers. At low tide, you can walk the beach in search of treasures or even dig your dinner in the clam flat with no license required. ( Note: The cove is closed to clamming during red tide.) Buckets and shovels are available for use by guests. For those with salt water boats, a public boat launch is 5 minutes away. If you prefer the lake, the town has several, to include Boyden's Lake approximately 10 minutes away, which has a small launch. The home is also the perfect set up for those looking to to go hunting or fishing in the area.

The home has a full kitchen to include pots, pans, glasses, dishes and silverware. Outside has a propane grill available and a separate propane burner/pot to use when cooking lobster.

The bathroom has a stand-up style shower.

ABSOLUTELY NO gatherings, receptions, parties of any sort are permitted. The home is designed for a family to enjoy a nice quiet getaway and not for large numbers of people. Owners of the home live across the street and violations will result in immediate lease termination. Also, absolutely NO dogs of any kind. This is firm, so please do not ask.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the residence (except cellar), large outside deck, large stone patio with picnic tables, fire pit, propane grill and large lawn which leads to the beach. Guests will not have access to outdoor amenities during winter months due to snow. Guests do not have access to small cabin on property but it is not used by anyone else while guests are renting the main house so guests will have full and private use of property. There is no video surveillance at the home or property.

Other things to note
Some wood is provided for fire pit. Wood can be bought in the area or owner can provide if arranged ahead of time. Wood is approximately $3 a bundle.

Home has a cable tv package and high speed Wi-Fi.
