Tomasjordnes 41 is a quiet neighborhood located in Tromsdalen where you can have both a great view of the city and have a quick stroll to the beach. If you’ve come to Tromsø to see the Northern lights, you might as well see it outside my apartment.

Tomasjordnes 41 is a quiet neighborhood located in Tromsdalen where you can have both a great view of the city and have a quick stroll to the beach. If you’ve come to Tromsø to see the Northern lights, you might as well see it outside my apartment.
If you need to grab something to eat, the closest supermarket is two minutes walk away. For more options, the city center is very accessible by foot or by bus. Though, it may take you a good 45 minutes walk, it will be worth it because it will give you a first-hand local experience, a superb view of the Arctic Cathedral and walking over the bridge that connects Tromsø and Tromsdalen is just a must!
The “Tomasjordnes” and “Uranusvegen” bus stops are three minutes walk away from my place. There are two different bus routes available. The number 20 bus passes by the Arctic Cathedral, City Center and UNN, while the X23 bus drives through the Tromsøysund tunnel and stops at UNN/Uit.
Think of my place as your happy place away from home. Regardless of the purpose of your visit, there’s enough reason to get out, take a break and enjoy Tromsø. Remember to bring with you good vibes!
