This lovely six-bedroom home sits proudly amidst manicured gardens and lawns in the rural setting of Prebbleton. This is twenty-minute drive from the CBD of Christchurch city and although close to the city, provides a rural backdrop away from the noise and bustle and provides fresh air in abundance. Pemberton will comfortably sleep 11 people over two levels, with five bedrooms upstairs and a single bedroom downstairs. Plenty of room for croquet, boules and BBQ’s.
The space
On entering the property, on the left, just inside the gate there is a function centre that caters for weddings as well as other functions. Keep driving past the tennis court, then the sweeping drive will deliver you to the parking area for the house. Parking around the house will accommodate parking for six cars easily.
Pemberton has been built to accommodate many different areas for entertaining and relaxing. All living areas open with French doors onto a lovely private courtyard with morning and afternoon sun. The kitchen is well equipped for most home chefs needs with induction hobs, fridge freezer, dishwasher. There is also a laundry equipped with washing machine and dryer.
Bed configuration
Bedroom One
This master suite has a super king-size bed is a large formal room with an ample luxurious en suite and walk-in wardrobe. It boasts views looking out over the rolling lawns, tennis court and to the hidden gardens just past the courtyard.
Bedroom Two, Three, Four and Five
These four bedrooms all have either a king-size or queen-size bed with wardrobes and chests of drawers for convenience during your stay. There is another large bathroom including shower, bath and toilet.
Bedroom Six
This bedroom is located on the ground floor and is a single room but still ample and has chest of drawers and is furnished with a single bed.
All bedrooms look over a different aspect of this property’s gardens and out to the surrounding farmland that is on the boundary.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the homestead and expansive associated gardens.
The property has a Function Venue ( http://www.pembertonvenues.co.nz/venue-details.html) at the front of the property which is rented for weddings and various other occasions. Guests cannot access the Function centre, cottage and other outbuildings on the site or the gardens immediately adjacent the function area (rose garden and Boules court) if venue is being used.
During your stay you may be aware of celebrating noises which are not easily heard from the house and will be over by midnight at the latest. In the aerial photo of the house you can see the function centre at the top right-hand corner to give you an idea of distance between the house and the function centre. Guests at the venue have a separate parking area
Wi-Fi
Please note that this home is in the country and therefore the Wi-Fi is not always what you would expect within the city areas. Please enjoy the times when it makes you take a break from the outside world.
Guest access
Guests can use the entire house, tennis court and gardens (however when there is a function on please refrain from using the gardens immediately adjacent to the function centre). There are still large garden areas around the house that can be used.
Guests cannot access the Function centre, cottage and other outbuildings on the site.

There is a supermarket situated approximately 2 kms away for any pantry needs.
