Set in a tranquil valley this is the perfect place to unwind, Lucy was welcoming and the perfect host, our room was very comfortable with amazing views over the river, I spent hours watching the buzzards soar in the thermals, we were even treated with an early morning sighting of wild deer in the garden. The breakfasts were scrumptious and set you up for the day. The house was beautiful, a real family home All in all we loved it

Lucy was great I had a cycling accident and spent the night in Barnstaple hospital waiting for surgery. Lucy waited up for my friend and offered to help arrange transportation for the bikes as well as a 2nd night after the hospital. My friend spent the night there and said it was a lovely experience. Thanks again to Lucy for being so accommodating with last minute changes

Just hope that all has gone well with you since and that you have recovered from surgery.

On arrival Lucy and her husband greeted us in a very genuine style, sharing moments of their lives and inviting us for an evening drink. Our room was just as advertised, Lucy's delicious and generous servings for breakfast very satisfying for our days out and about. A most recommended Airbnb.
