The coziest of our rooms (non smoking) has a full size bed, t.v., mini fridge, ceiling fan, hairdryer, wi-fi and private bathroom with shower but it is external to the room (accessible only by you). Window is a double paned to lock out noise.
This is the coziest of our 3 rooms but just as comfortable as the others. The room has a full size bed, window which looks out onto the main street, t.v., mini fridge, ceiling fan, beach towels, electric water kettle, hairdryer and private bathroom with shower but it is outside of the room (accessible only by you).
Since we are located on the main street in the historic center of town we are within easy reach of bars, restaurants, grocery stores and all types of stores and snack shops.
We are only a 3 minute walk from the parking area, beach, marina and from the train station where the famous "Lover's Lane" which connects Riomaggiore to Manarola begins.
The windows in all our rooms are double paned and great at locking out noise.
An Italian style breakfast is included in price of the room -- offered only during high season.
breakfast will NOT be served from November 1st to March 15th.
The room is a non smoking room but you are more than welcome to smoke in the open areas.
Due to unpleasant past experiences pets, unfortunately, are not allowed.
If arriving by car please check with us regarding our parking which needs to be reserved in advance due to limited spots.
A minimum 2 night stay is required but we can accept a one night stay if we have a "hole" between reservations for that one night so be sure to check our calendar.
Interaction with guests
My husband and I live directly above the rooms we rent so we are always present to help our guests with any of their needs.
Other things to note
The 5 Terre are all carved into a mountain side, therefore, stairs and hills are inevitable.
We have a 5 day cancellation policy.
Be respectful of the residents that live in the building especially if returning late at night.
We require all our clients to perform check-in by 18:00 (unless prior arrangements have been made and agree upon).

I am an American expat now living in the 5 Terre. My husband, who was born and raised in Riomaggiore, and I love to travel, listen to music and just enjoy life. He's a retired (early retirement) chef who loves to doodle with his backyard projects and I love to read (when I get the chance) and gardening. We both run the B&B as well as the apartments we rent and love to meet people from all over the world -- we never tire to hear other people experiences. We look forward to meeting you and to making your stay with us a memorable one.
