Thank you Candy. We are delighted that you and your family enjoyed yourselves. The creek and firepit are my special place, too, as it is where the two creeks - West Buffalo and Cedar are joined. We hope you will come again soon!

Terry, thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough review. I am glad you hiked around the property as the trail was a labor of love by our dear friend and we are so proud of it. Different times of the year bring different birds and flowers (and sometimes fewer bugs :) ... I'm always amazed at the diversity and beauty of each season. I hope you and your family will come again soon!

We loved the house. It's well-designed and very well furnished in a beautiful setting in the mountains. Close to Santeetlah Lake and the Snowbird Lodge for fine dining. Numerous hiking trails close by.

My family & I enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Sanctuary! We spent majority of our days riding the motorcycles through the mountains, but felt right at home each evening. The thoughtful touches were appreciated & we felt very comfortable. Absolutely recommended!
