One of the first Coastal Grain Mills was established, some years afrer building was completed in 1872. The old house comprises 44 squares with steep blackwood staircase. Rossi can relate some well known tales from it's past.

Molenda Cottage is in a lovely farm setting a few kilometres from Ulverstone. It is very easy to find thanks to the hosts instructions. A great location to explore the area - Penguin, Devonport, Sheffield, Burnie. Animals are friendly and a good place for kids to feed them. Rossi is very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Rossi has a great property. The acommodation is secluded and comfortable, (Especially the bed) It was a bonus to be able to wander around her farm and see all the animals. Rossi is a lovely, interesting person, very friendly. Highly recommend!

The lovely quiet location and friendly hosts. A short drive to Ulverstone for plenty of great dining. Poor phone reception provides a wonderful excuse for dropping off the radar for a few days.
