A fully furnished, rustic modern home boasting 4 full bedrooms with queen beds, 1.5 baths accommodating 8 guests.

Ideally located in the heart of Chestnut Hill on West Walnut, close to it all. Historic home completely renovated by 2 designers with the goal of providing a unique guest experience. A short walk to F&M college, central market, coffee shops, restaurants, shops, galleries and bars.

The space
The Slaymaker Lock House is a recently restored and renovated historic home with no attention to detail missed. Our goal was to create a space where guests can create their own experiences and memories -- hopefully inspiring them to come back again and again.

Home Features //
All 4 bedrooms have queen beds, 1800 thread count sheets and comforter and new cool gel memory foam mattresses with multiple pillows. Each closet has hangers and dressers in each room.

The full bath includes a glass enclosure shower, marble top vanity and slate flooring. Plenty of towels are supplied for all guests. There is a half bath on the first floor under the stairs.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, wine glasses, cooking dishes and more.

The dining area has plenty of room for dining for guests. You may also choose to dine or enjoy morning coffee on the front porch.

Technology has been incorporated throughout the house with Sonos speakers throughout that you can control from the houses iPad. A 60" TV is perfect to relax and enjoy your favorite movie or shows in the living room with guest access to Netflix and Hulu.

The basement has a full size washer and dryer and an ironing board and iron.

Restoration Process //
We took great attention to detail in bringing back the original character and charm of the home through refinishing the original hardwood floor and trim details. The home is a mix of restored elements, contemporary finishes, found objects and family collections that we just love. Enjoy the high ceilings throughout and perfectly curated areas to relax, recharge and enjoy!

We encourage you to explore the amazing city of Lancaster and enjoy the unique cafes, restaurants, shops, farmland and culture that makes it so special.

As someone who grew up in Lancaster I hope you appreciate and love it as much as I do and fall in love city~

Guest access
Enjoy access to the full house, living room, dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms, one and half bathrooms.

The house has 2 units in it so if additional space is needed inquire about booking the back unit with 2 additional bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room.

Other things to note
Enjoy your music throughout the house with the Sonos system easily accessible with the iPad. There is a TV in the living room with guest access to Netflix and Hulu. Parking is on street. A lock box code for key access and alarm code will be shared upon confirmation.
