Granada is a magical place to the eye, to the heart and to the memory. It is about its beautiful and narrow streets, its old houses, palaces, general architecture with an eclectic display of Christian and Arabic culture. It is about the gypsies that melt our hearts with their flamenco singing and dancing, not just at the outdoor theatres but also spontaneously at the streets. Granada has a special air that makes me vibrate when I breathe, I hope that happens to you also!.

Maria is a great hostess. The apartment is very close to the Alhambra and has lots of good restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc in the neighborhood. I will definitely try to stay with Maria again when I return to Granada.

I had a very beautiful one month in Granada! Mariam is very kind and helpful. She wasn't in spain during my stay but we was in contact. She answered me of every little question and cares about me and my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). I stayed in the smallest room of apartment. The room is very small but I was most of the time outside the flat, so I didn't need a bigger one. The only thing was the smell in my room. Next to my window is the kitchen of neighbors. They cooking all the time asia food, so there is a permanent smell of sojasauce... El Realejo is really beautiful! You have there everything what you need. The flat is near to the Alhambra so you can go there spontaneous for a walk. ;) I fall in Love with this city and I was really happy about, that you have just 10 minutes to city centre!

I had a good stay at Mariams place. She was not home during my stay, but she was very helpful by making the necessary arrangments for me and keeping in touch with me. Lovely lady. The flat is nice. I went in the summer and Granada was very hot. I had a good time with the other tentants. It is really close to most of what you want to do while in Granada. Bus station is not far away either. Good place to stay in a bohemian area of the city :)

Mariam’s home is a hidden jewel within the marvellous city of Granada. It’s located in the beautiful serene neighbourhood of Realejo, with local tapas bars, supermarkets, and everything you need within walking distance. The Alhambra is only a 10 mins walk which is a big big plus for me as I had planned for multiple visits to the site. The room was tidy, the bed was super-comfy and everything was provided for my convenience in the apartment. Mariam is the perfect host, eager to share stories, food and fun. She and her friends were such warm and welcoming people, and generous in so many ways - this is all what makes Granada so special. I really appreciate the time she has taken to make my stay a comfy one, the tapas rendezvous we’ve had, exploring the lovely parts of the city, catching a circus act, helping out with my Spanish and even the littlest things she has done such as putting an international power adaptor for my use. I would definitely come back to stay at Mariam’s home when I stop by Granada again. Disfruta, Genial, Chachi! :)

I can say that I am a very ecclectic girl... quite curious and with passion for learning things that I get interested in, among them, Spirituality, Shamanism, Dance and different expressions of Art which I have practiced in different countries: music, photography, writing and dancing. I dance argentinian tango which is highly enjoyable also here in Granada. However my profession is different: I am a Pharmacist and medical Herbalist.
I really like sharing life experiences through chats and meeting people, if they share my passions is even more enjoyable!
I am a very easy going person to share the apartment with, I am caring and sensitive to your needs, of friendly character, so I hope your stay in Granada will add the enjoyment of being well looked after in the apartment.
