Isabella's was an excellent place to explore Cinque Terra from. Compared to many other places around this was really good value for money. The mini-apartment (bedroom/bathroom/eating area) was clean and well looked after. Although my wife and I couldn't speak much Italian our communication was not a problem. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area!

The airbnb is very centrally located, although if you are unfit or bringing a heavy luggage you make find it a bit tiring. But then again, you should be ready for steep slopes and climbs if you want to visit Cinque Terre. The b&b is lovely - breakfast is delicious and we absolutely loved it! Isabella does not speak English, but she does have an English-speaking liaison so don't worry about not being able to communicate with her! She is a lovely old lady and her husband is just as friendly! The apartment itself was great, very clean and very comfortable, we couldn't have asked for more!

The room is very clean and tidy and perfect for what we needed. It's located on the quiet side of the village and close to the hiking trails. The owners are very kind, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Very clean and private room with own dining, bathroom and entrance. Simple but good breakfast. Despite not having any common language, communication wasn't an issue. Both Isabella and her husband were very helpful. Located very close to centre and to the path to Riomaggiore, very convenient. Also patio with washing line which was very useful. Would stay again.

Carugiu B&B was very nice, clean and comfortable. Isabella & Paolo are lovely and very friendly hosts. Isabella's breakfast with hot croissants was just perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone to explore the beautiful Cinque Terre. Grazie mille Isabella & Paolo!

We loved our stay at Carugiu B&B. Even though the hosts spoke no English, they managed to portray their warmth and were very attentive. The suite is just as described and was a delight to stay in for the week. The breakfast they brought every morning was great, the croissants are the best I've had! The location of the house is perfect, a short walk from the main street and also the sea. The street was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Manarola itself was a great choice, we tried to go to the other villages but the trains are a nightmare (word of warning!) and they also didn't have the same charm. We highly recommend this B&B. Thanks!

Isabella User ProfileIsabella is a superhost.

We opened Carugiu B&B in 2004, in the house that has been in my husband's family for generations. My husband Paolo and I live on the upper floors of the house.

We don't speak English, so our American daughter-in-law can help with translating. She owns a gear shop just down the street from the B&B called Cinque Terre Trekking.
