Get away from it all at the'Trail House' on the outskirts of Davagh Forest. A quaint forestry cottage theres lots of character in the house. Situated 30 minutes from Cookstown and Omagh and a stones throw from a childrens playpark and the Dark Skies Observatory theirs plenty to do. If your lucky to get clear skies views of outer space await, otherwise the fire beckons and you can enjoy the quiet away from the hustle of everyday life.

The space
This truly is a getaway, its quiet and quaint. You'll be able to 'unplug' and relax in the surroundings. Theres fire pits to toast those marshmallows or sit beside and have a glass of wine, the views over the sperrins are stunning. The house is near Davagh Forest, about an hour from most locations in Northern Ireland. The Beaghmore stone circles are 10 minutes away by car or take the boardwalk.

Mountain Biking wise you are on the Davagh Trail Centre, 25 minutes from Gortin's trail network and 40 minutes from Garvagh forest. Theres a pump track and skills loop a stones throw away.

For the stargazers you can set up in the garden or on the back yard, as one of Irelands designated 'Dark skies', Davagh is the spot to see the Universe at night.

If your a 'connected person' that craves WIFI it may not be for you. We have a WIFI dongle running off the 4g network. It can be slow and eratic but generally runs well allowing you to stream Netflix and stay connected.
