Interaction with guests
We appreciate your privacy so we won't disturb you unless it's necessary.
We are happy to provide any help or tips for your stay in London.
Brixton embraces an unapologetically unpolished reputation. Evolving from a site of controversy and struggle during the 90s, Brixton has steadily increased its appeal without losing much of its cosmopolitan make-up. Instead of posh boutiques you'll find a homespun culture and more than a bit of crass. Invitingly alternative, the neighborhood’s energy emanates from its diverse community, pubs, shops, art galleries, local markets...
It's a great multicultural melting pot, with Ritzy Picturehouse, the largest independent cinema in the UK to watch your favorite art-house and cult films, along with the latest releases. And Brixton Academy is known for great live music shows.
The Brixton Village Market is a food aficionado's dream. Delicious but affordable restaurants, thriving boutiques and artisanal shops represent cultural specialities from around the globe. Eat at a pop-up restaurant and pick up tropical foods, new tunes, and exotic fabrics in a single visit.
You can go for a stroll in Brockwell Park with tennis courts and its unique Lido (outdoor swimming pool), or go cycling at the Herne Hill Velodrome, which was used during the 1948 Olympics Games (and now been refurbished and open for public use!)
Peckham, a nearby neighborhood, is worth a detour as well.
*** Great Transport Connections *** Public Transport is plentiful. The Brixton Underground Station (Zone 2, Victoria line and National Rail trains) and Herne Hill Rail Station are both a short 10-15 minutes walk from the house.
Brixton station can take you directly to various Central London neighborhoods in about half an hour. Head directly to Victoria (for Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, St James Park, Big Ben, The Mall, Oxford St, Regents St, Trafalgar Square), or to the South Bank river promenade (for Tate Modern Gallery, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, St Paul's Cathedral, National Film Theatre, London Bridge, Borough Market and more!), or to Shoreditch and East London for trendy nightlife or the techy Silicon Roundabout. The center of London is very close and easy to reach!
*** 24hr Buses - Get Home any Hour! *** There are also many buses that pass near the house. Night Buses (N2, N3, N133 and N109) can get you home at any time of night.
*** Connected to Major London Airports *** The house is well connected to all airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton & Stansted...
Other things to note
Breakfast not included but help yourself to tea and coffee.
Other kitchen and house essentials provided like olive and sunflower oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, ketchup, mayonese, sugar, honey, cleaning products, toilet paper, laundry washing powder and softener.
The house has several bedrooms and the occupancy varies as per day, month and who rents them out (singles/couples), that means sometimes is busier than others. We try and be fair accepting individuals as well as couples and sometimes there might be a little family too.
The exact address and arrival instructions are detailed on your booking confirmation. Please send me your flight/arrival info when you book.
Once the booking is confirmed, we will arrange a suitable check in time (unless we agree on self check in). As we are in a and out of the house we need a precise time. If for any reason your flight gets delayed, or you miss the bus, or you get lost, etc, we need to know in advanced you wont be at the arranged time! If you arrive later than arranged WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW at least 1.5 hours in advanced, you will have to pay a £25 fee on arrival. The same way you wouldn't want to arrive and no one there to open the door and no notice, we can't wait all day without any notice! Thanks for respecting our time.
We look forward to hosting you during your stay in London!

I'm a traveler by nature!
I was born in Argentina, but I have left my homeland many years ago. I lived in Mexico and Spain before moving permanently to London, where I have spent the last 15 years.
I have made the most of London living a life full of fun and adventures as well as taking advantage of how easy is to travel from there to the rest of the world.
I like to travel to new and exciting places all the time to discover new cultures and beautiful locations.
Ibiza has become my second home in the last few years. I´m very lucky as I get the best of both worlds, city and countryside/beach life.
I hope to make your stay either in London, Ibiza or Argentina, as comfortable and pleasurable as It can be, I will always go out of my way to help you and advise you so you can have a superb time during your stay.
I look forward to meeting you!
All the best,
