A custom retreat ideal for one or two people. Our one bedroom/one bath small cottage is situated in a country setting on ten wooded acres along a large serene pond. It features a darling kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and toaster/convection oven. You'll enjoy birdsong and views of various wildlife. A quiet and restful place to stay when you want to be near Charlottesville, UVA, Virginia wineries, Monticello, Montpelier, CHO and Shenandoah Nat’l Park, among other close-by attractions.

The space
Your cottage is cozy and comfortable for two people. Our house is right next door to your cottage, separated by the driveway. We honor your privacy, but are here if you need something. COVID-19 note: we have committed ourselves and our cleaning regime to follow stringent protocols to clean and disinfect our space, keeping it safe for guests and hosts alike. Want to be helpful? At departure time, stripping the linens/mattress cover off the bed and using the hamper for bath towels/kitchen towels are helpful steps taken by our guests which are deeply appreciated.

If you are reserving for a Party of 2, please let me know (in your booking message to me) the first name of the guest coming with you. This is for my guest record; thank you. Also, please note that our house is on the grounds, and close by your cottage. Your front door faces my back door. I am here to help or guide you, if you'd like, but will not intrude.
