Cleveland Cottage is a unique home built in the late 1930's or early 1940's. The house has recently been updated, but it retains its original charm with hand-made doors, 1' paneling, and pine floors. The fireplace is the focal point of the spacious living room. The decor includes original art work depicting scenes of from the Mississippi Delta from earlier days. Nearby attractions include Delta State University, Downtown Cleveland with its many shops and restaurants, and the Grammy Museum.

The space
The cottage has one bedroom and one bath room and is perfect for a couple. However, it can sleep up to 4 people if the Murphy bed in the living room is utilized.

The kitchen is equipped with updated appliances plus all of the basics: silverware, plates, glasses, cups, pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. The kitchen is also equipped with a dishwasher.

There is also a spacious deck at the back of the house. In addition to outdoor furniture, a bbq grill and utensils are also provided.

Owning an Airbnb is a perfect creative outlet for me. It gives me great pleasure to provide guests with a place where they can relax and enjoy all that this area has to offer. I am a high energy person and enjoy reading, cooking & entertaining, decorating, and gardening. I’m married, a mother and a grandmother. My husband and I grew up in this area and have worked here for many years. During my career, I have been a teacher, artist, decorator and counselor. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor currently working with a local non-profit agency. I have a love of people, and for many years, I managed a non-profit organization that provided daily respite care for persons with various types of dementia-especially Alzheimer’s disease.
