Sitting on 58 private acres our home and property offer the comfort and privacy you expect a stay in the Catskills to include. The kitchen is fully stocked and opens onto a deck with glass panel views of the lower pasture and brook.
Just completed renovations assure your stay will be as pleasant as the views. A gas grill sits on a bluestone patio in back. Property is bordered by both the Sprague & Mine brooks allowing private fishing and wading with a 1/2 mile of frontage covering both sides of the quiet road.
My home is your home. My husband and I spend alot of time here so the house is stocked with most of the essentials. Linens and towels included. As well as a BBQ and firepit.
Interaction with guests
Though we live in Central NJ my husband's family has owned this property since the Depression and he has many lifelong friends in the area that help out if needed. We are only a call, text or email away.
Other things to note
The Willowwemoc and Beaverkill Creeks are minutes away with some of the best Fly Fishing in the World. We are also minutes from Mongaup State Park that boasts beautiful hiking trails, fishing, swimming and canoe/kayak rentals.
Please treat my home as if it is your own. Smoking is permitted outdoors only and all cigarette/cigar butts should be properly disposed of. The septic system is effective, however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper (and please use that sparingly). Dispose of all trash, please be sure to deposit in plastic liner before placing in outdoor trash can -- please place all bottles and cans in trash can marked “Recycle”. Close windows and lock front and back doors. Return all dishes/glasses /silverware to appropriate
cabinets/drawers. Also, sorry but no pets allowed.
I am a chef who spends alot of time on her feet. My best R&R happens at this house. My husband, son & I pack great food to bring with us so we can keep the running around to a minimum. If we do not have a project to do at the house, then we go exploring. Nothing like a good book and a glass of wine relaxing on the deck listening to the brook.
