A good sense of humour, down to earth, loves people and enjoys sharing food, life and walking with nature . My favourite travel destination was Zanzibar but the big apple also stirred excitement! and if I find a travel companion who shares my passion I would travel to Europe, France, USA, India, Thailand, Mauritius and Zanzibar again. As a traveller, I am good at sharing stories, and as a hostess, I can cook up a good biryani, aknee roti and lentils or chambo(local fish) braai with nsima and bonongwe /wild spinach on the open fire.Singing songs and listening to good old school music.Or telling stories under the moonlight! I do a lot of charity work .... enjoy good laughter and I love organic, healthy foods . I cook creatively and I believe I am an expert in the art of cooking. The sharing of my cultural heritage would include cooking, dancing to drums and story telling around the fire. My favourite poets are Yasmin Mogahed, Khalil Gibran and Rumi. Also, an experience in the mountain like a mere walk in the ribbons of the clouds, picnic by the river or a mountain exhibition. Guidance on my experience advice on the travel budgets will give you peace of mind as you will have answers to all the 'nitty gritty' stuff about the reality of travel in this part of the world. Practical advice on small bits and bobs about your travel expenses. Internet and WiFi is erratic so response to bookings could be slow on particular days. (Hidden by Airbnb) and watsapp works better and faster. Best movie for me was Sound of Music and One flew over a cuckoo's nest. Old school music and African music will keep me dancing away. Known to be a peoples person, Muslim and spiritual, yoga and nature is my way of life. My style of travelling is flying, roadtrip, train and ship with a dream travel companion, of whom I have not found yet! My dream is to have a vacation as a guest cook in other parts of the world homes . I love hosting with my sister friend Mariam ...and we have a great network and budget with Harry, a registered tour guide for mountain hiking, trekking, picnics for an all inclusive fee from our place. And in Blantyre, it's also an amazing fee for whatever you want to do. Our charity project is supporting cerebral palsy children, keeping girls in school, spiritual counselling, a playground and free library.. Just for the benefit of vulnerable community in the villages around the mountain. You can join us as a guest, tourist or a volunteer. The surroundings are of a spiritual set up, so no to alcohol, cigarettes etc in the house. Always ready to host you in Blantyre and Mulanje and we make amazing meals of which you can join in and learn how to cook Indian afro recipes, experience village life in different cultures, etc"Live. Love. Laughter.
