The space

Not many travelers get to experience what it is like to spend time in the back blocks of New Zealand and get to walk around a working sheep and beef farm. This fully equipped holiday house provides accommodation for family or friends and is set in a large beautiful rhododendron garden.

Guest access

Quests get to have the whole house to them selves along with the large deck, garden and gas heated hot tub. Nice river to swim in and marked walks to tramp on which provide amazing views of the East Coast area.

Interaction with guests

I do a meet and greet at the start of your stay but do not see you again unless you order the dinners that we provide if requested.

Other things to note

You are on a farm so do not have close neighbours or shops

This beautiful property is right up there with the best places we've ever visited. The property was absolutely stunning with gorgeous walks through the farmland. The house is gorgeous and set in beautiful gardens with a lovely warm fire. An absolute must do for anyone visiting the East Coast. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Jane and family.

A very special place - a magnificent part of the country. A must stay for those who love walking but also want the chance to have a quiet and restful break away from everyday life.

We live on a 1000ha sheep and beef farm which has amazing views over Gisborne and its hinderland. The scenery is dramatic and we love it. Warwick likes horses and uses them for farm work and I like maintaining my walks and the extensive gardens with the help of wwoofers
