Our check in to Alex and Kates apartment was pretty smooth. The person who recieved us was very descriptive and friendly. we were driving to rome and were late but the host was still very accomodating. The apartment was clean but not as modern as portrayed in the pictures. we had booked for 5 people, it was very spacious but you couldn't turn on both acs with an iron or a blow dryer as it would result in a blackout. Someone had to rush downstairs to turn on the main electric switch which was quite annoying. The towels, bed sheets were bad quality. no proper comforters. please improve on it. The kitchen misses basic utensils like an electric kettle. While reading the description we had assumed this apartment was in the center of tastevere but it was quite far from the main tourist area. However, the apartment was very well connected by a tram 5 mins away. overall it was a spacious apartment for the number of people we were and that worked for us.

The first word that comes to mind is wow. This was our first Air BnB stay and i am firmly on board with it. Before we arrived they let us know if a pending transit strike and arranged for a driver for us at the airport. The apartment is nice and the bedrooms had a which was really important in the 95 degree heat of July. Location was also perfect. Right down the street from the train station (to the left when you walk outside)which also has bus and tram stops that took you everywhere in the city. A grocery store is a short five minute walk to the right tucked away in an alley that has great fruits and veggies. As we arrived, their manager gave us a lot of good tips that were extremely helpful. It got us going right away. Washing machine in the apartment was also very helpful and they had a drying rack on the balcony. In the heat of summer, everything dried quickly. One word of advice for the Americans, the washing machine takes a few hours to run so plan accordingly. But it did the job well. If we return to Rome, no question this place would be on the top of our list!

We had good contact with Jeremy and Francesca before we got to the apartment and they kindly allowed us to book in early as we got to Rome around 9am. We were met there by the cleaner who was a wonderfully friendly guy and apart from explaining everything in the apartment went out of his way and actually walked us to the place to go to buy tickets for transport into the main city. The place itself was comfortable albeit not modern (we were a family of 5) but it was on the third floor and the lift was very small,so it did mean that we had to carry our luggage up,but overall we enjoyed our stay.

I would say the host and manager were both great! and the location of the apartment was very nice. it was close to a major train station and tram stop. also not far from 2 other even more major train stations. Id say the cleaniness of the place wasnt as nice as expected but still not terrible. The pictures werent exactly what the place looks like in person but still not terrible! good place for college students !:) had a great time in Rome cant wait to go back. Thanks so much for letting us stay in ur home
