This beautifully restored trullo blends centuries-old charm with modern comfort, high quality products and thoughtful touches offering a private, peaceful retreat in the heart of Puglia.

The space
THE TRULLO
There is double bedroom with a double bed, a small room with a single bed and a sofa bed in the main room (the sofa bed is suitable for a child of up to 12). There is a large terrace with a table, chairs and parasol and smaller terraces with deck chairs -perfect to relax 💇‍♀️ anytime of day.

TEROSSA AND CHILDREN
We love hosting families and children. We have some children's toys and lots of board games for families to play. There are children's books in English. The pool has a shallow end but it is not shallow enough for very little children so if they cannot swim they would need to wear armbands or a rubber ring. The land and house is not specifically child-protected. The Trullo is probably most suitable for children over the age of 3/4 but we do have a travel cot and a high chair available on request.

TOUCHES OF LUXURY
You'll find high quality toiletries in the bathroom with bath robes and pool towels. We offer all guests a bottle of our own cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil (made by us from the trees on our land) and a goodie basket of local products.

THE POOL
There is a lovely salt water swimming pool (approximately 10m x 5m) shared with the owners with sun beds to relax on. You will mostly have the pool to yourself as the hosts are very respectful of their guests' privacy and space and tend to use the pool when guests are out.

THE AREA
You'll be just 30 minutes from the beaches of the Adriatic. Choose between evenings roaming the little white washed alleys of Ostuni, stopping off for cocktails on the steps of the piazza, watching the sun set... Or relax on the trullo terrace with a glass of local wine, olives and the peace and quiet of the countryside. The view across the valley dotted with olive trees and trulli is really quite special. You are also 10-15 minutes drive from Cisternino and Ceglie and Ostuni, 3 lovely little towns, well worth a visit.

You are likely to need a car unless you are up for long walks. the nearest cafe is about a 30/40 minute walk away. It's not really possible to walk to restaurants or the nearby shops unless you are up for 2 hour round trips. There is parking for one car on the property.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the gardens and the land - the hosts have a house at the top of the land well away from the trullo - so there is plenty of privacy for everyone. You can't see the house from the trullo!

We are connected to Starlink, which is generally a reliable and fast satellite link.

However, because we are in the middle of the country and there is sometimes severe weather in Puglia (very strong winds, storms or torrential rain) this can sometimes affect the connection which can drop or slow down.
So, please bear in mind that wifi at Terossa is not guaranteed at all times!
