Neighbourhood highlights

A walkers paradise with the moors literally directly on the doorstep. Fabulous walking is available in the area including Top Withens and Bronte Waterfalls. Steeped in literary history, Haworth, a pretty village with a cobbled main street with independent shops, cafés, pubs and galleries, is located just 2 miles away.

Oxenhope itself has a convenience store, churches and pubs serving good food, as well as being known for the legendary Oxenhope Straw Race. Wonderfully artsy Hebden Bridge, also home to the National Trust’s Hardcastle Crags, can be reached either by car or good public transport links in around 15 minutes. The market town of Skipton, otherwise known as the ‘Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’, can be reached in around half an hour.

Fantastic cycling routes from the front door. We are located directly on the Tour de France Grand Depart Route. Also great mountain bike and running routes on which we can offer assistance.
