This is my US home. I travel extensively in Asia. I like to share my home with like minded people. The experience I offer is a complete home in a small, fascinating, fun city that is among the most livable in the US. The whole city is within walking distance, the ocean a 10 minute walk away as well. I invite you to share Portland living.

The space
This was once the immigrant area of Portland and now has grown into a charming location for urban living. Welcome to the gentrifying area of Munjoy Hill. All of Portland is within walking distance whether you saunter or speed walk. The immediate area around the living space boasts a bakery with the best croissant this side of France (Belleville @ 1 North Street), a market directly downstairs (The Hilltop Superette) and an upscale food market (Rosemont Market @ 88 Congress Street) for basics as well as gourmet tastes, a coffee shop (Hilltop Coffee @ 100 Congress Street). Restaurants in area are very good. The Blue Spoon servers regularly. Lolita's is renovating into a new concept. The city proper is a 15 minutes walk away filled with great dining opportunities and brew pubs, even in the midst of the pandemic. Portland was voted the best eating city in the US in 2018 by Gourmet Magazine.

It is a perfect space for two couples or a family of four.

Where you’ll be

Portland, Maine, United States

The hilltop location allows you to walk into the center of Portland’s vibrant food and brew pub scene in twenty minutes or less. If you walk ten minutes in the opposite direction you are on the Eastern Promenade overlooking the ocean and the islands of Casco Bay. The neighborhood is great for walks and the residents very friendly. Directly across the main street is the Portland Observatory. It is worth the many stairs on a clear day. At the top you can see all of Casco Bay. This tower was originally built to observe the company flags of merchant sailing ships coming into Portland harbor to trade.
